Est. 2014, the Australasian Orchestra (AO) is an outfit of highly passionate, diverse & talented musicians who perform in AO as busy lives allow. The orchestra has tackled some of the grandest orchestral works, as well as having regularly performed various Australian & unheralded works as part of AO’s signature musical blend.
AO’s orchestral return will be on 25/02/2024. In it will be Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky / Ravel, Grainger‘s Molly on the Shore, & Bruch‘s Violin Concerto No. 1 with soloist Louise Turnbull. Prior, a lovely chamber concert of Mozart, Stanhope & Berkeley pieces occurred on 05/11/2023.
Fuelled by pure musical passion, the AO has performed a plethora of exciting concerts. Comprised of wonderful & highly skilled players, AO has also been joined by soloists such as Tony Gould, Shu-Cheen Yu, Natasha Lin, Ji Won Kim, Aaron Klein, Adam Richardson, Brent Miller & Christian Li.
