Music to Love

AAO 2016 Feb flyer for website copy

To welcome in a new year of wonderful music making, AAO presented Music to Love, a Valentine’s Day afternoon concert which included Tchaikovsky’s phenomenal and much loved Symphony No. 6, Julian Yu’s beautiful romantic Concerto on Chinese Themes for Clarinet & Orchestra (with the AAO’s wonderful Aaron Klein as clarinet soloist), the world premiere of Melbourne composer David Keeffe’s The Eternal Triangle, a musical depiction of a ‘brief and unexpected romantic affair’ plus the Boisterous Love, Fantasy Fanfare for Winds and Percussion by Unknown.
