AO’s orchestral return concert on 25/02/2024 was a wonderful celebration of the orchestra, all those involved, the music and of violin soloist Louise Turnbull. In it was Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky / Ravel, Grainger‘s Molly on the Shore, & Bruch‘s Violin Concerto No. 1. Next concert: TBA.
Est. 2014, the Australasian Orchestra (AO) is an outfit of highly passionate, diverse & talented musicians who perform in AO as busy lives allow. The orchestra has tackled some of the grandest orchestral works, as well as having regularly performed various Australian & unheralded works as part of AO’s signature musical blend.
Fuelled by pure musical passion, the AO has performed a plethora of exciting concerts. Comprised of wonderful & highly skilled orchestral instrumentalists, AO has also been joined by soloists such as Tony Gould, Shu-Cheen Yu, Natasha Lin, Ji Won Kim, Aaron Klein, Adam Richardson, Brent Miller & Christian Li.
