PURE PASSION

Based in Melbourne, the Australasian Orchestra is a unique symphony orchestra dedicated to performing major works from the classical repertoire, as well as new and exciting compositions from Australian and overseas composers. A notable feature of the orchestra's concerts has been the inclusion of world premieres of original and commissioned works in its concert seasons. Under the baton of Chief Conductor and Artistic Director, Robert Dora, the orchestra’s exciting and innovative programming brings a special musical experience to instrumentalists and audiences alike. (From 2013 to 2016 the orchestra was known as the Australian & Asian Orchestra Inc.).
